A lovely self catering cottage in Glenelg in the Highlands of Scotland
1. Formation of contract.
A binding contract between you and the owners of the Smithy Holiday Cottage will take effect when we issue you with a holiday confirmation letter or email.
2. Period of hire.
Letting commences at 4pm on the day of arrival and terminates at 10am on departure. Lets are on a weekly basis and the maximum period of let is 3 weeks. Short breaks consist of a minimum of 3 night's duration. Only the persons named on the booking form are permitted to stay in the cottage during the period of hire.
3. Booking and payment.
A deposit of £50 is payable when the booking is made. We will write to confirm your booking and reservation as soon as a deposit is received from you. The balance is due 6 weeks before the commencement of the let.
If you book your holiday less than six weeks before it is due to commence, please pay the full amount when sending the booking form. The price for the Smithy Cottage is inclusive of all fees, electricity and all bed linen. The number of persons occupying the property should not exceed four persons. Subletting is strictly prohibited. Cheques should be made payable to F.I Property Partnership and sent to Robert Robinson. Please contact Robert on 01603 395 018.
Should a cancellation be made by the client, we will seek to re-let the property for the period of hire. If we are successful in doing so we will refund all monies paid less a handling and re-advertising charge of £25 per week booked. In the event that we are unable to re-let Smthy Cottage for the hire period all monies paid by you (deposit or otherwise) will be forfeited to us.
5. Breakage or damage.
We respectfully ask that any items damaged should be replaced or remunerated. Please advise us of any breakage or damage that should occur during your stay.
6. Care of property.
The accommodation and all furniture, fixtures and effects are to be kept in the same state of repair, condition and cleanliness as at commencement of your holiday.
The owners shall have no liability for any death, personal injury, damage or loss of property, unless this results from the owner's negligence.
8. Right of entry.
The owners reserve the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out necessary repairs or maintenance.
9. Other conditions.
Smoking is not permitted at any time in Smithy Cottage. A single well behaved pet can stay by arrangement.
